Achieve final victory in the fight against extreme poverty

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the number of impoverished people in rural areas of Xizang has been reduced by 850,000, and the incidence of poverty has dropped by an average of 4.4 percentage points annually. The relocation for poverty alleviation benefiting 266,000 residents has been fully completed. The vision of "Two Assurances and Three Guarantees" has been realized. A total of 74 counties (districts) have been lifted out of poverty, and 628,000 registered poor people have escaped poverty. These efforts have effectively eradicated the region's absolute poverty that has persisted for thousands of years.
